Welcome to the Bedfordshire County Golf Partnership

Formed in 2009, the Bedfordshire County Golf Partnership consists of the Bedfordshire County Golf Union, Bedfordshire Ladies' County Golf Association and Bedfordshire PGA, working with and on behalf of the 23 affiliated Bedfordshire Golf Clubs. Together with our partners, team BEDS&LUTON and The Golf Foundation, our aim is to grow the game of Golf in Bedfordshire.

	GOLF CLUB MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONNAIRE 2010: There is still time to return your questionnaire. So far just 9 clubs in the county have done so. Please make every effort to ensure your club completes the questionnaire so that EGU/EWGA can gather information vital for the development of our game. 	EGU/EWGA MERGER TALKS MOVE FORWARD: A press release was issued detailing the latest developments in the merger process between the English Women's Golf Association and the English Golf Union, together with a joint statement from the Chief Executives of both organisations. 	STEVE BIGRAVE APPOINTED COUNTY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER: Following a rigorous interview process, the Bedfordshire County Golf Partnership is pleased to advise the appointment of Stephen Bigrave as County Development Officer effective from 1st February. Stephen is a past Captain of Three Locks Golf Club and is currently a Committee Member at Leighton Buzzard Golf Club. In addition to his role of CDO, Stephen will also chair the BCGP Sub-Group responsible for Marketing & Communication. Click here to contact Steve.

	RUNNING AN EVENT AND NEED EQUIPMENT? The BCGP can offer a range of equipment for hire including TriGolf and Golf Xtreme. If you are organising an event, click here for the full inventory, agreement form downloads and contact details. Equipment hire is free, but a donation to the BCGP to help with the continued development of golf in our county would be very much appreciated.

	COUNTY ACADEMY PROGRAMME: Formerly known as Club & Coach, the County Academy Programme aims to provide coaching to players above beginner level but below County Squad level. Recruitment is from schools via the PESSYPs as well as through clubs. In order to be able to deliver this coaching, the coaches themselves must be coached and a major part of CAP is upskilling volunteers. More information>>.
